HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WELCOME TO

Best wishes for a Happy and Prosperous
2012 New Year. May the days and months ahead keep you all safe and well. It
seems like we have an exciting year ahead for the community. Final touches
are being made on the pool cover so it can be used in full operation soon.
Preparations are under way for the addition to the clubhouse and all
decisions will be finalized in the next month to come. At that time a letter
will be sent to all homes in Vantage Pointe with full details on the
project.
Remember that the January 10th
association meeting is when nominations are made for three (3) open seats in
the board. Two (2) seats for three (3) years and one (1) for one (1) year.
We hope for a good turnout.

AROUND THE POINTE
THE CAROLING NIGHT THIS YEAR WAS DONE IN
THE CLUBHOUSE. IT WAS A FUN NIGHT WITH LOTS OF CAROLING, A TRIVIA GAME,
JOKES, LOTS OF GOOD FOOD AND GIFTS GALORE. IF YOU HAVE THE CAPABILITY MANY

WHAT A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS EVE BRUNCH!
THE HALL WAS FILLED TO CAPACITY! THE FOOD WAS HOT AND THE CREW DID A
WONDERFUL JOB IN SERVING EVERYONE AT THEIR TABLES. CHRISTMAS CAROL KARAOKE
WAS A LOT OF FUN AND AS WE HAD TWELVE TABLES WE WERE ABLE TO DO A GREAT
RENDITION OF THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS. THE BRUNCH ENDED WITH EVERYONE
STANDING AND SINGING SILENT NIGHT. THE CREW DID A GREAT JOB! LOTS OF
PICTURES ARE ON THE WEB SITE.
OUR NEW POOL COVER HAS BEEN INSTALLED
AND SHOULD BE OPERATING AS IT WAS INTENDED SOON. MANY THANKS TO GLEN MYERS
FOR OVERSEEING THIS PROJECT.
THE FLOOR PLAN FOR OUR
FUTURE EXPANDED CLUBHOUSE CAN BE VIEWED ON THE WEB SITE. CONSTRUCTION IS NOT
EXPECTED TO START UNTIL MARCH, 2012 DUE TO THE MANY PERMITS THAT HAVE TO BE
COMPLETED.
THERE WILL BE A
FREE PANCAKE BREAKFAST ON SATURDAY,
JANUARY 28TH FROM 8:00 UNTIL 9:30. WHILE THE BREAKFAST IS FREE, WE DO NEED
YOU TO SIGN UP IN THE CLUBHOUSE SO WE KNOW HOW MANY TO PROVIDE FOOD FOR.
Attention Golfers
The Vantage Pointe Golfers are playing
golf at Harder Hall at 10:00 on Wednesdays. If you are interested in
playing, please call Joe Magisano at 382-1848.
STARTING JANUARY 2, 2012 OUR TRASH
PICKUP DAYS WILL BE ON MONDAY AND THURSDAY AND YARD WASTE WILL BE THE 1ST
AND 3RD WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH.

OUR HIGHLANDS ART LEAGUE REPORTER - JOHN
LASCO reports that on Friday, January 13th, the Yellow House Gallery and
Gift Shop hosts their monthly reception for Destination Downtown Sebring
(formerly known as Gallery Walk), from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Light
refreshments served. Carol Frye, upcoming President of the Florida
Watercolor Society for 2013, will be featured as the Artist of the month.
The Highland Art League (HAL) is hosting
a number of special events and new art classes, so please check their
